What is it?
The CIRCULAR WALK is a fun outing during which you learn more about the circular economy & its benefits.
Suitable both for adults and kids aged 6+, the walk combines information, playful activites and art. Set in a beautiful park, the walk also offers you the option to stop & shop at our organic market garden Which?Garden.

The CIRCULAR WALK is project by FOU DE FOUGERETTE, association loi 1901, and part of the #TransitionCastle initiative. We support the move towards a more ecological and economical future.

Admission fees.
Tickets are available at the Which?Garden shop:
Adults: €3.50 (16+ yrs.)
Children: €2 (6-15 yrs.
Free for children <5 or if they are accompanied by their parents.
Please plan at least 1 hour for your visit. The length of your stay depends on how you interact with the panels & info.
By car.
Leave Etang-sur-Arroux on the D994 towards Roanne/Vichy, take the 1st turn left just after leaving the village and follow the signs for Which?Garden.
Parking is available on site.
By bike or public transport.
Trains to Etang run from Autun, Dijon, Beaune and Châlon-sur-Saône. On foot, it takes ca. 15 minutes to get to our place from the train station.
If you’re staying at the Camping des 2 Rives, we are just a 5 minute walk away.
Accessibility.
The CIRCULAR WALK is a natural path and not suitable for visitors with reduced mobility. Please wear good shoes!

The panels of the CIRCULAR WALK are designed to be easy to understand, without any further explanation.

The idea behind the walk.
Circular economy is a sustainable ecnomy that creates value instead of waste. As a concept, circular economy has been around for some time. The starting point for the CIRCULAR WALK was the following line of thought: If circular economy offers us a solution to address global challenges such as the climate crisis or the upcoming resource depletion…

Drawing on findings from motivational psychology, we developed the CIRCULAR WALK based on the motto:

Would you like to create awareness of the circular economy amongst your citizens? The CIRCULAR WALK was designed as a plug & play template for other municipalities and communities (paid option). The panels are currently available in English and French.

Who we are.
FOU DE FOUGERETTE, association loi 1901 promotes art and culture in all its facets. Under the motto #TransitionCastle, the association is committed to a sustainable future and values such as cooperation, resilience and creativity. It also supports the renovation of Châtea de Fougerette, where it set up its headquarters in 2013.
The CIRCULAR WALK is part of our #TransitionCastle iniative. With this project, we aim to accelerate the transition to a more ecological and sustainable economy that deploys climate-positive impact.
